Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Programme/Project Manager to lead delivery, deployment, and support of complex Defence projects across the Systematic SitaWare suite in the UAE. You will drive scope, time, quality, and customer satisfaction while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and customers.

The role requires PMP/PRINCE2/IPMA Level B/C, 5+ years in a similar Defence/secure environment, and fluency in English (Arabic a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Software or related field (required)
• PM/PRINCE2/IPMA Level B/C certification (preferred)
• 5+ years in a similar Defence/secure role
• Fluent in English; Arabic a plus
• Proven track record delivering complex IT/C4I projects
• Leadership experience coaching multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in capture, estimation, and sales support
• Knowledge of data-driven/AI-enabled Defence solutions
• No criminal record; UAE security clearance eligibility
• Willingness to travel to Aarhus HQ and region as needed

Lead delivery, deployment, and support of complex Defence projects across the Systematic SitaWare suite Execute projects to scope, time, quality, and customer satisfaction requirements Coordinate multidisciplinary services teams, development teams, subcontractors, and customers Manage allocated Services personnel, including recruitment, performance management, and people development Support business development by forming and scoping solutions, estimating, and writing proposals for upsell and change requests Manage projects through KPIs, governance forums, management briefings, and business committee meetings Support customer engagement, regional delivery, and mobilisation activities across the Middle East Apply customer and business understanding with technical insight across land, maritime, and joint operational contexts

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher within IT/software or a related field
• Project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2 or IPMA Level B/C
• 5 years or more experience in a similar role, ideally within the Defence and security domain
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Proven track record delivering complex IT or C4I service projects in a geographically dispersed environment
• Leadership experience and ability to coach, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in business capture and proposal activities, including estimation and support to sales
• General understanding of data-driven, AI-enabled, and simulation-based capabilities within Defence solutions
• Must have no criminal record
• Must be eligible to obtain a UAE security clearance
• Willingness to travel to Headquarters in Aarhus and within the region as required
