Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Programme/Project Manager to lead delivery, deployment, and support of complex Defence projects across the Systematic SitaWare suite in the UAE. You will drive scope, time, quality, and customer satisfaction while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and customers.

The role requires PMP/PRINCE2/IPMA Level B/C, 5+ years in a similar Defence/secure environment, and fluency in English (Arabic a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Software or related field (required)
• PM/PRINCE2/IPMA Level B/C certification (preferred)
• 5+ years in a similar Defence/secure role
• Fluent in English; Arabic a plus
• Proven track record delivering complex IT/C4I projects
• Leadership experience coaching multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in capture, estimation, and sales support
• Knowledge of data-driven/AI-enabled Defence solutions
• No criminal record; UAE security clearance eligibility
• Willingness to travel to Aarhus HQ and region as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery, deployment, and support of Defence projects across Systematic SitaWare suite
• Coordinate multidisciplinary services teams, development teams, subcontractors, and customers
• Manage Services personnel including recruitment, performance management, and people development
• Support business development through proposals, estimation, and upsell/change requests
• Oversee projects using KPIs, governance forums, and management briefings
• Support customer engagement, regional delivery, and mobilisation activities in the Middle East
• Apply customer and business understanding with technical insight across land, maritime, and joint contexts
