Responsibilities
- Commissioning/Maintenance of all kinds of water and wastewater treatment plant technologies such as clarifiers, filtration, softeners, UV, UF, EDI, RO, OM plants, aeration, MBBR, MBR, etc.
- Coordination with the engineering team for the BOQ requirement for erection & commissioning.
- Client management and understanding the priority and expectation of the client and satisfying the same for the goodwill of the company.
- Analysis of water parameters.
- Project execution / O&M - Water/Wastewater/STP/TSE polishing system.
- Plant equipment installation with reference to P&ID, piping layout and isometric drawings.
- Raising RFIs and coordinating with the consultant for approval upon completion of Installation, Testing & Commissioning.
- Coordinate with client regarding site readiness to commence installation activities.
- Optimize plant performance to the designed commitments.
- Diagnosing & providing recommendations in process-oriented issues.
- Preparation of method statement checklist for installation, testing & commissioning.
- Generating monthly O&M AMC services report, monthly production and chemical consumption report and water analysis report.
- Surveying and submitting report of actual as-built site conditions with recommendations to sales team prior to bidding.
- On-site: apply & close the work permit.
- Liaison with our sales team, consultants, contractors and suppliers to provide smooth water treatment to our client.
- Developing process engineering in support of day-to-day operations, maintenance and monitor activities.
- Monitoring/evaluating performance and maintaining effective monitoring reports.
- Troubleshooting operational and process quality problems in areas such as cooling water treatment, boiler water treatment, process water treatment, chilled water, wastewater, domestic water, swimming pool water, etc., and providing technical inputs for operating procedures.
- Carrying out flushing work and supervising the same.
- Identify any additional service requirements for the client.
- Commissioning and troubleshooting of water treatment controllers/dosing systems.
- Programming and interfacing the controller of BMS/SCADA system.
- Knowledge of Ethernet/IP address communication.
- Review current treatment program (case study) and provide enhanced technical support.
- Corrosion coupon monitoring.
- Biological control measures onsite - spot/lab test methods.
- Calibration of special sensors like PTSA, fluorometers (online), correlators, turbidity, ORP, etc.
- Coordinating with equipment suppliers for troubleshooting the dosing systems (controllers, pumps, sensors) etc.
- You will maintain schedules and reports of work planned and completed in accordance with the administrative systems operated by the company.
- In conducting your work you will observe all Health and Safety directives or guidelines in force in the company and as may be imposed by the customer. You will be expected to ensure safety equipment is always issued to you by Culligan and to act in a safe, responsible manner.
