Job summary

Melodica is seeking an experienced SEO specialist to boost organic visibility across its academy websites and instrument ecommerce platforms in Dubai. You will conduct keyword research, optimize on-page and technical SEO, and improve local search performance for multiple branches.

You will collaborate with content and development teams to implement fixes, track results in Analytics and Search Console, and translate data into actionable improvements that drive traffic and conversions.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on SEO experience across keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical audits and local search.
Experience optimising WordPress and Shopify sites with basic HTML troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Search Console, Google Analytics, Keyword Planner and PageSpeed Insights.
Ability to translate data into actionable SEO strategies for multi-location businesses.

Responsibilities

Develop an SEO plan covering music and dance services, branch locations and ecommerce categories, with clear priorities and success measures.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and search-intent mapping using SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner and relevant tools.
Optimise service pages, product listings, blogs and landing pages, including titles, headings, URLs, internal links and content briefs.
Audit crawling, indexing, duplicate content, redirects, canonical tags and broken links; implement fixes within access and capability and brief the developer on code-level changes.
Manage SEO settings in WordPress and Shopify, using Yoast SEO or Rank Math where relevant; apply basic HTML changes and validate results.
Improve local visibility for branches through location pages, Google Business Profile optimisation and consistent business information, coordinating with branch teams.
Review speed, mobile usability and Core Web Vitals with PageSpeed Insights; prioritise improvements with the Website Developer.
Monitor Search Console and analytics data, report organic traffic, visibility and conversions, and develop relevant link-building opportunities without manipulative tactics.
