Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent maritime discipline.
• 5–8 years of vessel technical management experience.
• Experience within an international dredging group, Middle East preferred.
• Knowledge of classification and flag requirements.
• Procurement, vendor management and cost-control experience.
• Familiarity with MARAD or similar maintenance systems.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily technical operations of vessels, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance, inspections, and budgets.
• Lead procurement of spares, lubricants, stores and services, and manage suppliers.
• Monitor costs, prepare budgets and contribute to fleet KPIs.
• Ensure HSE compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
