Job summary

AECOM in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Wayfinding Technical Designer to join our team, leading technical development of signage and wayfinding packages from concept through construction.

The role requires strong coordination across architecture, MEP, and other disciplines, with advanced Revit and BIM experience to deliver buildable, compliant solutions for high-profile Middle East projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Product Design, Environmental Design or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with signage systems, wayfinding, BIM and Revit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of signage and wayfinding technical packages.
• Translate approved designs into technical drawings with dimensions, materials, finishes, and illumination details.
• Prepare sign location plans, message schedules, sign coding, quantities and documentation.
• Coordinate signage requirements with architecture, landscape, interiors, structural, MEP and lighting disciplines to ensure integration.
• Specify materials, fabrication methods, mounting solutions and illumination systems.
• Provide technical support during tender and construction, review shop drawings and fabricator submissions.
