Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island, UAE, is seeking a Deputy Head Wardrobe to join the Theater Operations team on-site. You will oversee wardrobe staff, assist with hiring, training, scheduling and costuming standards for a large-scale production environment.

The role requires a minimum five years in wardrobe management and three years in costume construction, with strong leadership, organizational and cross-cultural collaboration skills, and the ability to work under pressure during performances and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years in a management or supervisory Wardrobe role in large-scale productions.
• Minimum three (3) years in costume construction; knowledge of design and maintenance.
• Experience with industrial sewing machines, sergers, and related tools.
• Ability to manage staff and perform under pressure.
• Ability to direct and motivate performers and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Department in supervising Wardrobe staff and training new employees.
• Assist with staff scheduling and timekeeping and training documentation.
• Assist with developing, standardizing and documenting wardrobe maintenance procedures and laundering.
• Ensure the ongoing integrity of all costume designs and accessories.
• Provide wardrobe support for performers during events and performances.
• Maintain safety policies and a positive, productive work environment.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and manage inventory of consumables.
