Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai seeks a Senior Engineer – Vertical Transportation to lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance of elevators, escalators and moving walkways on flagship projects.

You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with vendors, contractors and project teams to meet schedules, ensure UAE safety standards, review drawings and specs, and mentor junior engineers for on-site excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in vertical transportation systems.
• Expertise with major VT manufacturers (OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp).
• Strong knowledge of elevator mechanics, hydraulics, and control technologies.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of VT systems on-site.
• Review technical drawings, specs, and codes for UAE compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project teams to meet timelines.
• Develop site safety protocols and QA procedures for VT activities.
• Prepare reports and performance analyses on system performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and corrective actions.
