Job summary

UMATR in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior AI Engineer specializing in speech and audio modeling. You will join a highly technical team, working hands-on across research, experimentation, and production to deploy end-to-end voice systems.

You will contribute to model development, evaluation, and deployment, with emphasis on low-latency inference and robust performance in real-world environments. Strong Python and PyTorch skills are required, with CUDA a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with speech and audio ML including ASR and TTS.
• Proven ability to take models from research through to production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate neural speech models from research to production.
• Build end-to-end voice pipelines integrating ASR, language models and TTS.
• Optimise latency and scale deployment in distributed environments.
