Job summary

Analog in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Speech & Language Scientist to bridge research and development across ASR, NLU, TTS and conversational AI. You will conduct cutting-edge research, prototype algorithms and publish in top venues to push the boundaries of speech technology.

You will collaborate with engineers, product teams and designers to deploy research into real-world applications, improve model accuracy and guide cross-functional efforts toward impactful solutions for a more connected world.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer science, electrical engineering or related field with focus on speech/audio processing.
• Proven research track record with publications in peer-reviewed venues.
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and programming (Python, C++).
• Strong knowledge of signal processing and deep learning for speech/audio tasks.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed computing.
• Publications in CVPR/ECCV/NIPS/ICASSP/InterSpeech etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in speech and audio tech, incl. ASR, TTS, audio enhancement.
• Research, design, develop and test novel audio and speech processing algorithms.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers and designers to deploy research.
• Improve accuracy of models and coordinate teams to solve problems efficiently.
• Propose AI approaches to improve clients’ business efficiency.
• Invent and optimize algorithms in speech/audio areas.
