Safesea Group seeks a Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical management and maintenance of assigned vessels, ensuring safe, reliable operations in line with regulations and company standards.

The role coordinates with crews, ship owners, and stakeholders to deliver vessel availability, budget adherence, and compliance with ISM/ISPS/MARPOL/SOLAS while driving engineering excellence across the fleet.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent. (≤60 chars)
• Experience leading technical teams on vessels is preferred. (≤140 chars)
• Strong knowledge of ship repair, dry docking and maintenance planning. (≤140 chars)

Responsabilidades

• Oversee vessel maintenance, repairs, and technical performance.
• Plan and supervise dry-docking and major repairs within budget and schedule.
• Manage budgets for maintenance, spare parts, and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS/MARPOL/SOLAS and class requirements.
• Drive safety and environmental compliance and training on new technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to crew and coordinate inspections and audits.
• Investigate incidents and provide reports to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee procurement of spare parts, lubricants, and stores.
• Maintain records of performance and maintenance schedules.
