Job summary

KEO International Consultants is seeking a talented Utilities Engineer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role focuses on supervising wet and dry utility infrastructure works and coordinating with contractors and authorities to deliver projects on time.

The ideal candidate brings 15 years of utilities or infrastructure experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and strong knowledge of UAE standards and FIDIC contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in utilities engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience supervising large-scale infrastructure developments.
• Familiarity with UAE and GCC engineering standards.
• Experience coordinating with utility authorities and government agencies.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction supervision procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction of wet and dry utility infrastructure works.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, quality, and schedules.
• Review construction methodologies, shop drawings, submittals, and method statements.
• Inspect utility installations: water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, electrical, telecoms, and more.
• Coordinate with contractors, authorities, utilities, and stakeholders for approvals and delivery.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover activities for utility systems.
• Identify construction issues and provide technical recommendations for timely resolution.
• Prepare inspection reports, site observations, NCRs, and progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Attend progress meetings and coordinate with the Resident Engineer and project team.
