Job summary

Facade Today is looking for an experienced Utilities Engineer to manage utility infrastructure projects in Fujairah. In this role, you will oversee site activities, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards while coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and have 3-5 years of relevant experience in the UAE, including expertise in water and wastewater systems. A UAE Driving License is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in utility and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, sewerage, drainage and utility network construction.
• Experience with HDPE, GRP, DI and uPVC pipeline installation works.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Engineer in Fujairah to plan, coordinate, supervise and execute utility infrastructure projects—water supply, wastewater, drainage and related civil works. The successful candidate will oversee site activities, enforce project specifications and safety requirements, coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities, and support project delivery within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities for water, wastewater, drainage and utility infrastructure works.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and local authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to approved schedules.
• Prepare RFIs, technical reports, progress reports and as-built documentation.
• Manage subcontractors, site engineers, foremen and labor teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company quality standards.
• Coordinate utility diversions, tie‑ins, shutdowns, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Support quantity measurements, variation orders and project cost control activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in utility and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, sewerage, drainage and utility network construction.
• Experience with HDPE, GRP, DI and uPVC pipeline installation works.
• Familiarity with authority requirements and approvals (Municipality, Utility Authorities, Service Providers etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of utility networks.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
• Experience in Fujairah or other Northern Emirates is an advantage.
