Job summary

UNCO Oil in Dubai seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to identify, evaluate and secure new upstream opportunities including licensing rounds, farm-ins, acquisitions and partnerships. You will lead commercial and technical due diligence with our subsurface, engineering and finance teams and present investment recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Economics or Business.
8+ years in upstream business development, new ventures or commercial roles.
Track record maturing and closing upstream deals internationally.
Strong grasp of upstream fiscal terms, valuation and negotiation.
Fluent English; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

Screen and mature new upstream opportunities: license rounds, farm-ins, A&D and partnerships.
Lead commercial and technical due diligence with subsurface, engineering and finance teams.
Build valuation and economic cases and present investment recommendations to leadership.
Develop and manage relationships with NOCs, governments, partners and vendors.
Lead negotiations of PSCs, JOAs and commercial agreements with legal and commercial support.
Track country/market and competitor intelligence to guide entry and growth strategy.
Manage the opportunity pipeline and represent UNCO OIL externally.
