Job summary

COEGA Sunwear in Dubai seeks an experienced Accountant to manage the general ledger, VAT returns, and corporate tax compliance. The role covers month-end closes, budgeting, payroll, and cash flow management across group entities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, hands-on experience with ERP systems and QuickBooks, and is ready for an on-site Dubai assignment. ACCA/CIMA/CPA or similar qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) preferred.
Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance, with cost accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain general ledger across group entities and ensure postings are accurate and timely.
Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and forecasting, annual budget consolidation and quarterly forecasts.
Handle payroll processing and related journal entries.
Conduct variance analysis on gross profit and inventory, report insights to management.
Manage cash flow, AR/AP, and coordinate supplier payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of cash balances.
Prepare VAT group return and lead UAE e-invoicing implementation.
