Job summary

National Bank of Fujairah is seeking a Senior Officer in Trade Services to manage a section of operations, ensuring service quality and compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and ICC rules. The role emphasizes document verification, transaction checks, risk assessment, and timely MIS reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree, 3–4 years in a bank's Trade Services unit at supervisory level, and strong AML knowledge aligned with UAE Central Bank regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum graduate degree required.
• Knowledge of ICC rules and regulations.
• CDCS/CSDG preferred.
• 3–4 years on-the-job experience in a Trade Services department at supervisory level.
• Understanding AML within UAE and Central Bank regulations.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for queries related to the section's activities.
• Document checking and verification/authorisation of transactions within thresholds.
• Apply charges and waivers for transactions handled.
• Assess risk and raise transaction tickets for approvals.
• End-of-day review of entries and maintenance of MIS.
• Ensure adherence to NBF policies, regulatory guidelines and ICC rules.
• Respond promptly to messages from counterparties, business and customers.
• Review SWIFT messages and end-of-day reports for pending items.
• Review BOD/online reports to maintain a clean desk policy.
• Maintain and file transaction records and balance outstanding items.
• Move completed files to off-storage as required.
• Rigorously follow AML guidelines and bank compliance policies.
• Raise ORER for incidents and implement controls.
