Job Title: Senior Techno Functional Consultant HCM - Payroll
Qualification and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or engineering is typically required. A master's degree or additional certifications in areas such as project management or business process management can be advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing HCM implementation projects and initiatives, preferably in a similar role as a support consultant for Payroll or a related position.
- Experience with integrating diverse systems, applications, and technologies within complex IT environments.
- Knowledge of industry-specific integration challenges, standards, and regulations, if applicable.
- Experience in designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Fusion Payroll suite and related modules, including Core HR, Absences, Compensation, Time & Labor. Knowledge of and Oracle ERP R12 Payroll is preferred.
- Expert in Payroll business process area for core engine and typical integrations with banks and other applications.
- Superior ability to understand, articulate and address business issues, business drivers and needs.
- Able to plan and facilitate design sessions. Able to conceptualize a solution of significant scope, across multiple business processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify payroll and regulatory requirements, evaluate system compatibility, and troubleshoot issues.
- Knowledge of security and data privacy considerations in payroll/HR projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from various departments and levels within the organization.
- Ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and align integration initiatives with organizational goals.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, business analysts, and project managers.
- Strong presentation skills to deliver updates, reports, and recommendations to management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle Application Object library and application database structure.
- Good working knowledge of BPM workflow and runtime report configuration and Design Studio, Application Composer, Page Composer using fusion application.
- Well versed in developing PAAS extension for customization which includes but not limited to integration between oracle fusion and PAAS application and vice versa using VBCS, ICS, PCS and DBCS.
- Oracle Application Express (APEX), OAF, Oracle Fusion, SaaS, and PaaS environments.
Skills:
- Payroll functional and technical support to Business.
- Accountable for Monthly/Annual Health Check of Payroll processing.
- Recommend automation opportunities in Payroll wherever possible.
- Identify gaps and implement solutions to reduce issues in Payroll and related modules. Create knowledge repository with SOPs and recurring issues.
- Coordinate with Oracle support to identify resolutions to product issues.
- Professional HCM/Payroll experience as practitioner and/or implementation consultant.
- Knowledge of payroll rules for UAE & Global Payroll is a must.
- Proven experience implementing one or more of the following modules: Payroll is mandatory. One or more additional modules such as Absence, Fast formulas, Benefits, Time & Labor, Core HCM are preferred.
- Excellent experience with Oracle Fusion/EBS HCM Payroll Application Configuration.
- Excellent competency in Oracle Payroll Tuning/Payroll System Health Check etc.
- Experience in creating Test cases, Conducting Parallel Tests, and Production Support (SR Management, Patch coordination, Ticket resolution, Unit/Integration testing etc.).
- HCM Extract, BIP, OTBI/Dashboards, HDL, Spreadsheet and Fast Formula.
- Proficient in customizations/personalization/configuration using Sandbox tools in areas related to Payroll Core HR and related modules.
- Extensive experience in Preparing Business Cases, Training Programs, and Presentations for Stakeholders and Business users of all levels.
