Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Technician to perform precision mechanical assembly of components and systems. The role involves following engineering drawings, using hand and measuring tools, and guiding team members to ensure tight tolerances and high-quality outputs.

You will coordinate with design and fabrication teams, maintain assembly documentation, and support testing and integration of mechanical systems with electrical or hydraulic components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; aerospace/defense experience preferred.
• 10+ years of experience with assembly of aerospace or precision engineering products.
• Experience leading a technician team in a prototyping environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical assembly per drawings and instructions.
• Lead and mentor technicians; monitor work quality and output.
• Coordinate with design/fabrication teams for proper fit and function.
• Conduct tests, adjustments, and troubleshooting during prototyping.
• Create and maintain assembly documentation and inspection records.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements are met.
• Assist in integration of mechanical systems with electrical/hydraulic components.
