Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in Dubai seeks a seasoned protection systems engineer with extensive experience across gas and steam turbine generator protection, transformer protection testing, HV/LV switchgear protection, and related maintenance disciplines. The role covers protection for 132kV/33kV GIS environments, generators, and transformers as well as associated motor protection.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with primary/secondary injection testing and familiar with protection

Job description

• Experience in Gas Turbine & Steam Turbine Generator / Generator Transformer Protection systems of different Make like Areva/Siemens/Schneider/ABB/GE
• Testing and commissioning of Power and Distribution Transformer Protection systems
• Experience in control circuits troubleshooting of the HV/LV Switchgear and protection
• Experience in HV Motors Protection systems
• Experience in 132KV/33KV Gas Insulated Switchgear
• Experience in Power and Distribution Transformer maintenance
• Experience in HV/LV switchgear maintenance
• Low Impedance Bus Bar Protection systems such as REB500, REB670 and high Impedance bus bar protection systems
• Competent of using the secondary and primary injection test kits.
