Job summary

Backbase in Dubai seeks a Technical Manager to lead the technical success of a strategic client account with end-to-end ownership and to partner with Delivery Leaders for scalable solutions. You will drive solution design with architects, guide engineering teams, and act as the technical face to CIO-level stakeholders, ensuring excellence and on-time delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in software and architecture, 5+ years in management, fluency in English, and a track record in enterprise

Qualifications

• 10+ years overall experience with 5+ years in management and strong architecture background.
• Experience leading enterprise-grade software delivery, preferably in regulated industries.
• Proficient in Java/Spring and modern cloud-native stacks.

Responsibilities

• Take full technical ownership of the client account across all workstreams.
• Define and drive the clients' technical strategy.
• Advocate for the client and voice customer needs inside Backbase.
• Identify opportunities for better product adoption and align with R&D roadmap.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Product Engineering, and Project Implementation teams.
• Partner with Delivery leaders to balance time-to-market and quality.
• Ensure platform best practices and engineering delivery standards.
• Act as the technical face to senior stakeholders, including CIOs.
• Be hands-on when needed to unblock issues and support squads.
