Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to join a UAE-based main contractor with extensive experience in roads, expressways, and utility infrastructure delivery. The role focuses on leading site execution, coordinating with consultants and clients, and ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance on major road projects in the UAE.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6+ years in main contractor-side road/infrastructure execution and is based in the UAE with immediate or short-notice availability

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of total experience with main contractor-side execution of roads, highways, or large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Based in UAE with immediate or short-notice availability prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site execution of major road networks, earthworks, drainage, and deep/shallow utility infrastructure packages.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal engineering to resolve technical conflicts and manage site interfaces.
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance.
• Manage subcontractor activities, site resources, and daily construction operations to meet milestones.

The Senior Technical Engineer will have a proven background in heavy civil engineering, roads, expressways, and utility networks to join their execution team.Key Responsibilities:Lead the site execution of major road networks, earthworks, drainage, and deep/shallow utility infrastructure packages.Liaise directly with consultants, clients, and internal engineering disciplines to resolve technical conflicts and manage site interfaces.Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, ensuring compliance with strict quality (QA/QC) and HSE standards.Manage subcontractor activities, site resources, and daily construction operations to ensure critical milestones are met.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Experience: Minimum 6+ years of total experience, with a heavy emphasis on main contractor-side execution of roads, highways, or large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC.Availability: Candidates who are based in the UAE with immediate or short-notice availability will be prioritised.
