Job summary

Client of AE Recruitment in Dubai is seeking a senior Architect to join the project team, supporting the Project Director in client meetings and guiding design projects from concept to construction documentation.

You will manage Revit workflows, perform model audits, develop floor plans, elevations and technical drawings, ensure adherence to international standards and Dubai regulations, and assist tender documentation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• At least 15 years of experience, with at least 5 in the UAE.
• Experience on medium and large scale projects with international architectural practices.
• Working knowledge of international design standards (British and American) and local regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, architectural AI tools, and CSI and NBS specifications.
• Experience working with the local authorities, including Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Dubai Development Authority and Dubai Civil Defense.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Joining the Project Director in client meetings and helping to prepare the project brief.
• Delivering tasks across design projects to deliver outcomes per policies and standards.
• Managing design projects through concept, developed design, technical design and construction documentation.
• Managing Revit workflow and models and creating content.
• Carrying out regular model audits and clash detection simulations.
• Changing and revising drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Preparing floor plans, elevations, sections and technical details from sketches and notes.
• Preparing final tender/construction documentation including drawings, specs, 3D models and CAD files.
• Preparing advanced drawing sets as part of documentation packages.
• Ensuring design specs meet safety standards and local regulations and codes.
• Assisting tender documentation and specifications.
