Qualifications

• Bachelor Industry Diploma/Certification required.
• 5+ years in Air Freight Forwarding.
• Working knowledge of systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise outbound/export air shipments operations.
• Coordinate with offices, third parties, and internal departments to ensure smooth transport and documentation.
• Negotiate with air carriers, handling agents, and government agencies to improve service quality.
• Ensure invoicing is completed within 24 hours of job completion.
• Maintain strong client relationships with timely updates on freight passage and deliveries.
• Foster teamwork and shared goals.
• Coordinate with overseas offices and route shipments per consignee instructions.
• Collaborate with Pricing for over-size shipments and RFQ submissions from sales.
• Record and report required information to head of department.
• Forward billing instructions to operations and monitor invoice dispatch.
• Handle customer queries and coordinate with cross-trade teams to meet requirements.
• Supervise processes between transportation service and supply chain providers.

Senior Team Lead Etihad Implant Air Freight

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and supervising all Operations related activities of all outbound/export air shipments; ensuring that all Operations requirements are met in line the team processes and guidelines.
• Coordinating and communicating with DSV offices third parties and internal department such as the Sales Dept and the Customer Service dept to arrange and ensure smooth transportation of shipments & proper documentation from the point of origin to ensure smooth handling of shipments.
• Negotiating and building favorable business relationships with external parties such as Air Carriers handling Agents government agencies that would improve competitiveness and quality of service to our customers.
• Ensuring strict compliance in ensuring all invoicing related jobs is done within 24 hours from the time the job is completed.
• Working towards ensuring a strong bond with clients to ensure faith in our capabilities as their assigned service provider; maintain a strong client relationship through timely updates on the passage of freight and timely cargo deliveries.
• Developing teamwork demonstrating shared goals and values.
• Coordinate with respective overseas offices and routing shipments based on consignees Instruction.
• Coordinate with Pricing desk for Over Size shipment such Aircraft Engine Landin Gear etc. and submitting RFQ as per instruction from sales dept.
• Accurate recording and reporting of all required information to head of the department.
• Billing instruction forwarding to the operation team and monitoring Invoice Dispatch.
• Handling customer queries communicates and coordinate with cross trade functional departments to deliver effective service and meet customer requirements.
• Responsible for monitoring and supervising the process and procedures between transportation service and supply chain providers.
• Performing any other related duties/ projects assigned by Manager from time to time to meet business exigencies.
