Job summary

Ghobashgroup in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced IT infrastructure professional to design, install and manage servers, storage and virtualization for complex projects. You will lead migration efforts and hybrid cloud deployments across Azure/AWS and UAE platforms.

You will provide L3 support, maintain documentation, and engage in pre-sales with BoQ inputs. A strong background in data-centre projects and security best practices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering.
• Certifications such as MCSE Server Infrastructure, VCP-DCV, AZ-104 or AWS Architect are advantageous.
• Experience with HCI and cloud migrations across Azure/AWS or UAE cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, install and configure server, storage, backup and virtualisation solutions for customer projects.
• Deploy blade servers with firmware, iLO/iDRAC, OS builds and hardening.
• Build and configure virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/vSAN, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
• Implement SAN/NAS storage with zoning, LUN provisioning, replication and snapshots.
• Deploy backup and DR solutions with retention, immutability and offsite/cloud copy.
• Plan and execute data-centre, server, storage and workload migrations with minimal downtime.
• Migrate on-prem workloads to Azure, AWS or local UAE cloud, and Exchange to Microsoft 365.
• Design and deploy hybrid infrastructure - Azure/AWS compute, storage, networking and identity (Entra ID).
• Provide L3 support for systems incidents and document health checks and PM reports.
• Support pre-sales with solution design, BoQ, SOW inputs and man-day estimates.
