Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an IT staffing and systems lead to manage department staffing, schedules, and hiring, while coordinating application support and vendor relationships. You will plan releases, test, and document changes to ensure smooth operations.

Additionally, you will maintain data, design entry automation, and serve as a liaison between IT and business units. Mentoring junior staff will help grow capabilities and careers within the department.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 11+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in recruiting, staff development, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead department staffing needs, including schedules and hiring.
• Configure and support applications and systems using business knowledge.
• Oversee vendor relationships and release planning/d testing/documentation.
• Maintain data tables and automate data entry processes.
• Act as liaison between IT and business for department initiatives.
• Prepare project documentation such as plans, requirements, and test plans.
• Mentor junior team members to promote skill growth.
