Job summary

SteerAI, an autonomous mobility technology company backed by VentureOne and ART Council, seeks a System Architect to lead design, integration, and optimization of robotic systems for autonomous vehicles and ground robots.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and AI teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and high‑performance solutions while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in system architecture or systems engineering.
• Experience in autonomous vehicle systems or ground robotics.
• Strong understanding of V-model, SysML, MBSE, and sensor fusion.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, ROS, and modeling tools (EA, MD).
• Excellent communication skills; able to present complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable architectural design for autonomous robotic systems meeting performance goals.
• Integrate sensors, computing, communication, and control systems across hardware/software/AI teams.
• Define and maintain System Requirements Specifications (SRS) with traceability and validation.
• Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML for clear representation.
• Identify risks and ensure safety/compliance per ISO 26262 and regulatory standards.
• Guide prototype development, testing, and validation against requirements.
