Job summary

Hitachi Energy L.L.C. in the Dubai area is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Substation Automation and Cyber Security. You will lead design, testing, and integration of Micro SCADA, RTU560, and IEDs while ensuring OT security and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/communications engineering, 5–8 years in power grids, and proficiency in IEC standards. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or communication engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in power grids and OT security.
• Strong knowledge of Micro SCADA, RTU560, IEDs and standards IEC61850/IEC101/IEC104/DNP3/Modbus.
• Fortinet/NOZOMI/IEC62443 certification is a plus.
• Must communicate well in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, project controls, schedules, cost estimates for new infrastructure.
• Lead testing and commissioning of Micro SCADA and RTU projects.
• Coordinate engineering across projects with external and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for testing, QC, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
