Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Senior Project Engineer for Substation Automation and Cyber Security in the region. You will manage design, testing, and commissioning across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and timelines.

Strong OT security, networking, and control system knowledge are essential. You will work with Micro SCADA/RTU platforms, IEC protocol stacks, and third-party security solutions, coordinating with vendors and customers to deliver secure, reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or communications engineering.
5–8 years in power grids and knowledge of Micro SCADA/RTUs.
Strong design capability in control or power systems engineering.
Experience with IEC61850, IEC101/104, DNP3.0, Modbus and related IEDs.
Fortinet/NOZOMI/IEC62443 certification is a plus.
Familiar with OT security practices and substation network design.

Responsibilities

Prepare designs, controls, specs, schedules, cost estimates, and installation plans.
Coordinate engineering across multiple projects and stakeholders.
Provide technical support for testing, commissioning, and QC activities.
Lead factory acceptance testing and customer engagements on scope and risk.
Ensure compliance with regulations, budgets, and schedules.
