Job summary

Egis invites an experienced Structural Inspector to join the supervision team in Dubai. You will ensure all structural works comply with IFC/shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and UAE regulations.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, proactive collaboration with engineers and architects, and strong QA/QC discipline. Responsibilities include daily on-site inspections, coordinating contractor activities, issuing NCR/SOR reports, and maintaining comprehensive inspection

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of structural site inspection experience in UAE construction.
Strong understanding of structural materials and deterioration mechanisms.
Knowledge of UAE building codes and international standards.
Ability to interpret IFC and shop drawings, ITPs, and method statements.
Proficiency with inspection tools and documentation procedures.
Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily site inspections of all structural works to verify conformity with IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications and method statements.
Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements and international standards.
Identify deviations and issue SORs and NCRs with clear corrective actions.
Review inspections of concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, structural steel, foundations, and waterproofing interfaces.
Coordinate with project team to resolve structural issues and verify corrective actions meet requirements.
Ensure documentation, testing, and QA/QC records are properly maintained.
