Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Inspector to oversee on-site structural work, ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. You will conduct thorough inspections and maintain comprehensive documentation to support quality objectives.

You will coordinate with project teams, prepare inspection reports, verify material quality, and track progress while upholding UAE regulations and health and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in structural inspection and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and UAE regulations.
• Ability to analyze structural systems and construction methods.
• Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to coordinate with diverse teams.
• Experience with CAD or construction management tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed structural inspections of building components and materials to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
• Monitor on-site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and UAE regulations.
• Analyze structural elements, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and engineering teams to address inspection findings.
• Verify quality of materials and workmanship to meet standards and requirements.
