Job summary

Atkins Realis Group seeks an accomplished structural supervision professional for GCC-region projects. You will review contractor submittals, guide on-site inspections, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with international codes and standards.

You will work with AutoCAD, ETABS, and REVIT BIM platforms, ensuring accurate documentation and on-site problem resolution. You will also support design teams and interface with authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years post-graduate experience in GCC building supervision.
• Middle East experience is mandatory.
• Experience reviewing and approving contractor structural submittals and coordination with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractor structural, civil technical submittals and subcontractors shop drawings and calculations.
• Support and guide inspection teams on-site on technical points.
• Coordinate RFIs and with other disciplines and design teams.
• Review design calculations, BIM models, and coordination with authorities.

Overview

Your role

• Building structural supervision experience
• Experience and knowledge in using international Codes and standards
• Experience in structural supervision projects
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Experience in using structural software such as AutoCAD SAP ETABS and SAFE
• Basic knowledge of BIM and the REVIT platform
• Knowledge of local authorities requirements

• Reviews and approves all contractor structural civil technical submitt and sub-contractors shop drawings and calculations such as reinforcement scaffolding precast waterproofing etc
• Supports and guides inspection teams on-site in terms of technical points
• Replies to RFIs and coordinates with other disciplines and design teams
• Performs technical research and technical reports
• Follow-up with site observations and non-compliances
• Reviews and deals with design calculations analysis models and BIM models
• Join the site visit with the project team
• Attending technical meetings with the project team
• Works independently and as part of a team to complete specific supervision activities assigned
• Responsible for providing approvals for the contractor s structural technical submitt
• Collaborates communicates with other disciplines regarding coordination issues and day-to-day supervision activities
• Provide support to the inspection team to resolve any site activity issue
• Adopts creative and innovative solutions to site problems clashes and develops appropriate supportive technical documentation research reports
• Coordinates with the design team regarding specialists packages approvals by authorities
