Job summary

MORE International Engineering Consulting LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a structural engineer with 3–5 years of experience to design buildings and infrastructure, perform detailed analyses, and ensure code compliance. You will collaborate with architects, perform site inspections, and contribute to sustainable design solutions.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and a PE license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• PE license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in structural engineering, preferably within building/construction.
• Experience with large-scale projects and managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000 and RISA-3D is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; good client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges and other infrastructure to ensure safety and code compliance.
• Collaborate with architects and other disciplines to integrate structural systems with architectural vision.
• Perform site inspections and assess existing structures for repairs or reinforcements.
• Use advanced software tools for modeling and simulation to provide innovative solutions.
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations and specifications with clarity and precision.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on materials and construction methods to incorporate sustainability.
• Oversee construction drawings and details ensuring accuracy.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns to foster growth and knowledge sharing.
• Attend client meetings to communicate technical concepts clearly.
