Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Structural Design Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead the structural design of complex projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovation in engineering solutions.

You will develop designs for commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings, perform advanced analyses, and collaborate with architectural and MEP teams while adhering to local and international codes. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in structural engineering for complex projects.
• Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (SAP2000, ETABS).
• Expertise in regional building codes and standards.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software.
• Expertise in seismic design and analysis.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices.

Responsibilities
