Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an experienced procurement leader to act as the interface with stakeholders and deliver service requirements and procurement objectives. The role focuses on leading high-spend category sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliant, cost-effective outcomes.

Responsibilities include strategic category planning, risk analysis, supplier performance reviews, and coaching a team of sourcing professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline, preferably with a Finance or Engineering background.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Add value to the business through strategic sourcing practices and drive sourcing strategy.
• Coordinate activities within the assigned category to achieve lowest total cost of acquisition / ownership.
• Ensure compliance of sourcing activities with internal policies and procedures.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to plan sourcing activities.
• Translate requirements into RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs and analyze responses.
