Job summary

NSR Associates is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer / Project Manager to lead the construction supervision and delivery of a major STP project in the UAE. You will manage contractors, supervise teams, and ensure compliance with designs, specifications and project standards.

The role requires 20+ years in construction supervision, strong STP knowledge, and proven capability in safety, quality control, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction supervision and infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience delivering at least one large-scale STP project (3,500 m³+ capacity) as Resident Engineer or Project Manager.
• UAE experience preferred; international STP project experience considered.
• Arabic language skills advantageous with ability to join on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction supervision and delivery of a major STP project within quality, safety, programme, and budget requirements.
• Manage contractors and supervision teams to align with designs, specs, and project standards.
• Oversee site inspections, testing, commissioning, and QA processes throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with client, authorities, stakeholders, and utilities to resolve technical challenges.
• Review and approve programmes, method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and progress reports.
• Provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams to drive performance, risk management, and handover.
