Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to supervise stormwater drainage and related utility works in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will monitor construction against drawings and project specifications, ensure Dubai Municipality requirements, and coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in stormwater, drainage, sewerage, and utility inspection.
• Experience inspecting stormwater networks, pipelines, manholes, and related civil works.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality standards and local authority requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey information.

Responsibilities

• Inspect stormwater and sewerage construction works against drawings and specs.
• Monitor underground drainage pipeline installations and related civil works.
• Verify alignment, coordinates, invert levels, slopes, and gradients.
• Check pipe joints, fittings, and installation details for compliance.
• Review quality control procedures and testing results for drainage structures.
• Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and utility authorities to address interfaces.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare daily reports.
