We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially driven Senior Store Manager to lead the overall performance, operations, and profitability of one of our flagship retail stores. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, and leading large, multi-functional store teams.

As a Senior Store Manager, you will be accountable for achieving business targets, optimizing store profitability, maintaining high merchandising and operational standards, and developing high-performing teams. You will serve as a key business leader, ensuring the store consistently delivers outstanding results while upholding our brand values and customer promise.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Commercial Performance

• Lead the overall store operation and deliver sales, profit, and productivity targets.
• Develop and execute action plans to maximize revenue, market share, and customer traffic.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance against key business objectives.
• Analyze sales trends, category performance, and customer buying behaviors to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective implementation of promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and business initiatives.
• Drive profitability through effective expense control and productivity management.

Customer Experience

• Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service standards throughout the store.
• Champion a customer-first culture and proactively address customer concerns.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement initiatives to enhance shopping experiences.
• Maintain high service levels across all departments and customer touchpoints.

Store Operations

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all store functions.
• Maintain excellent standards of availability, merchandising, pricing accuracy, cleanliness, and store presentation.
• Ensure effective inventory management and stock control processes.
• Monitor shrinkage and implement measures to reduce stock loss and operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop department managers, supervisors, and store teams.

• Ensure visual merchandising standards and promotional displays are executed effectively.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe environment for customers and employees.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action plans where required.
• Ensure audit readiness and adherence to all company compliance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of retail management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior store leadership role.
• Experience managing large-format retail stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets, or multi-department retail operations.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Demonstrated experience leading large teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in retail management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
