SmartChoice International GCC is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead storage and data protection teams, shaping architecture and delivery across large-scale platforms.

You will provide strategic direction, mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver resilient, secure and scalable infrastructure. This role combines leadership, architecture and hands-on engineering to drive critical initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in storage, data protection, infra environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Hands-on technical leader with storage data protection expertise.
• Deep experience with NAS, SAN, object storage, and software-defined storage.
• Designing and operating storage platforms for cloud, AI, HPC, Kubernetes or similar workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, virtualization, cloud infra, automation and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop storage and data protection teams, fostering technical excellence.
• Provide architectural guidance and oversee design decisions across platforms.
• Remain hands-on in complex initiatives and critical production escalations.
