Job summary

TurbineOne is seeking a senior/Staff-level engineer to design, build, and own scalable software infrastructure. You will implement production-grade systems and autonomous testing across diverse edge hardware, enhancing CI/CD and platform reliability.

Ideal candidates have strong Python/Go/TS skills, Linux expertise, and experience with SRE and test infrastructure. Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Senior- or Staff-level impact designing, building, and owning software systems.
• Strong programming ability in Python, Bash, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience in SRE, Production Engineering, CI/CD, Build & Release, or Test Infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Linux, containers, networking, and software delivery pipelines.
• Practical experience designing or supporting automated testing at various levels.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical tradeoffs.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

• Design, implement, and operate production-quality infrastructure with significant autonomy
• Build automated testing infrastructure for software running across heterogeneous edge hardware
• Make tests reproducible and failures easy to diagnose across diverse hardware platforms
• Enable Product Engineering and QA teams to contribute automated tests while DevOps owns and evolves the automation platform
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, build and release systems, deployment automation, developer tooling, and platform reliability
• Identify high-leverage engineering opportunities and drive major initiatives from ambiguity to successful operation
• Partner closely with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and software quality

Requirements

• Senior- or Staff-level impact designing, building, and owning software systems
• Strong programming ability in at least one production language (Python, Bash, Go, or TypeScript)
• Experience in SRE, Production Engineering, CI/CD, Build & Release, Developer Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Test Infrastructure
• Strong experience with Linux, containers, networking, and software delivery pipelines
• Practical experience designing or supporting automated testing at unit, integration, end-to-end, or system level
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical tradeoffs
