Job summary

CNTXT AI is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and tooling that power our AI products.

You will collaborate with software, AI/ML, security, and product teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available platforms, with a strong emphasis on automation and reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and infrastructure best practices.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile engineering teams.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling that powers our products.

You'll work closely with software engineers, AI/ML teams, security, and product teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, highly available, and fully automated. You'll play a key role in improving developer productivity, accelerating releases, and maintaining world-class reliability across our environments.

What You'll Do

Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, build, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure.

• Architect scalable environments across development, staging, and production.

• Manage networking, storage, compute resources, and cloud security.

• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and operational costs.

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Improve deployment reliability through automated rollback, validation, and release strategies.

• Continuously improve developer workflows and deployment speed.

Platform Reliability

• Maintain high availability and system reliability across all production environments.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions.

• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.

• Participate in incident response and postmortem reviews.

Security & Compliance

• Implement DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Manage secrets, identity, access control, and infrastructure security.

• Ensure infrastructure follows industry security standards and best practices.

• Conduct vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening.

Containerization & Kubernetes

• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.

• Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters.

• Optimize workloads for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.

• Manage ingress, service mesh, storage, and cluster operations.

Collaboration

• Partner with Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Security teams.

• Support developers with infrastructure, deployments, and operational tooling.

• Document infrastructure architecture and operational processes.

• Drive continuous improvements across platform engineering and operations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• 4+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.

• Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.

• Strong understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.

• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.

• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and infrastructure best practices.

• Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working within Agile engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure and GPU workloads.

• Experience with MLOps platforms and model deployment pipelines.

• Knowledge of GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux.

• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.

• Familiarity with serverless architectures.

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are a plus.
