Job summary

GSSTech Group seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a technology engineering team supporting enterprise-scale platforms and analytics environments. You will focus on building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines, containerized platforms, infrastructure automation, security integration, and production engineering across highly available environments.

Qualifications

• Strict experience in designing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines across Python apps and microservices.
• Proven ability to implement GitOps workflows and security integrated pipelines.
• Hands-on with IaC and container orchestration in enterprise environments.
• Solid experience with DevSecOps tools and multi-cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for Python apps and microservices.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Build and maintain microservices CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
• Develop Helm-based deployment pipelines for containerized apps.
• Automate deployment, configuration, IaC provisioning, and operational processes.
• Implement and maintain GitOps deployment workflows using ArgoCD.
• Integrate security, compliance, and regulatory checks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Incorporate DevSecOps tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Sysdig, Nexus, Nexus IQ, Cosign.
• Automate patching and configuration management across environments.
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman.
• Use Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools for provisioning and management.
• Create automation scripts in Groovy, Python, and Linux shell.
• Support API development and integration within deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infra, app, and pipeline issues.
• Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations.
• Monitor health with ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with teams to ensure smooth transition, adoption, and consumption of platform services.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, engineering standards, automation strategies, and platform improvements.

• Experience supporting systems with high availability, transaction volumes, and geographically distributed environments is preferred.
