Job summary

Aleroy is hiring an SRE Lead to own reliability, scalability, and production engineering across the platform. You will lead architecture, incident response, automation, and technical leadership while collaborating with Backend, Platform, Product, Security, and Engineering leaders.

You will work hands-on with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD to drive reliability, observability, and cost efficiency as the business scales.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, Platform/Infrastructure Engineering, or similar roles.
• Experience owning production infrastructure at scale.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and operating production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, storage, containers, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, ELK/EFK, or similar observability stacks.
• Scripting/programming in Python, Go, Bash.
• Experience with SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, alerting and error budgets.
• Experience leading production incidents, RCA, and post-mortems.
• Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of production infrastructure.
• Architect, operate, and optimize Kubernetes environments.
• Design and improve production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain observability with monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.
• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident management and on-call processes.
• Embed security best practices across infrastructure and cloud domains.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on.
