Job summary

Involved Solutions LTD. seeks a Head of Platform Engineering to own the platform strategy underpinning a global technology group. You will shape multi‑cloud infrastructure, tooling, and observability to enable faster, safer delivery with lower cost across business units.

You will lead SRE and platform teams, define reliability targets, and drive FinOps discipline while aligning platform investments with group priorities. A hands‑on leader with deep platform experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure, cloud or platform engineering.
• Led platform engineering teams at scale.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and cloud-native architecture on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong SRE and observability background with reliability and cost outcomes.
• Experience in a multi-business-unit group, enterprise or high-growth environment.
• Credible with CTOs and business leaders as well as engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform engineering strategy across the Group, including cloud infra, tooling, CI/CD, observability and reliability.
• Build and run an internal developer platform with standardised paths to cut delivery time across units.
• Lead SRE and platform teams, setting reliability targets and engineering standards.
• Drive multi-cloud architecture, security by design and FinOps discipline across environments.
• Partner with tech and business leaders to align platform investment with group priorities.
• Hire, develop and retain a high-calibre platform organisation.
