Job summary

HireHouse is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer - Lead in Abu Dhabi, UAE to design and scale cloud infrastructure and observability. You will lead SRE practices, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and define SLOs/SLIs to keep services healthy.

The role requires 8+ years in DevOps/SRE with enterprise leadership, hands-on cloud and IaC skills, and strong Kubernetes experience for large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of DevOps/SRE experience including leadership in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Proficient in Python, Bash or Go and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Lead SRE best practices for reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo CD or similar).
• Define and track SLOs & SLIs to maintain uptime and service health.
• Build observability frameworks (Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic).
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts for efficient orchestration.
• Implement auto-healing systems and proactive monitoring.
• Drive chaos engineering and resilience testing (Chaos Mesh, Litmus, AWS FIS).
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed reliability into development.
• Maintain clear infrastructure and incident documentation.
