Job summary

EDGE Commercial seeks a Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist to join its Bidding & Proposals team. You will identify and source cutting-edge defence technologies for strategic projects, acting as a Subject Matter Expert in Radars, UAVs, Electro-Optics, RF Systems, and Weapons.

You will work closely with bid, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to secure compliant and competitive solutions, balance milestones, and build strong supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience, preferably within the Aerospace & Defence industry.
• Strong understanding of bid management processes and technical sourcing.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer RFP technical requirements and identify suitable products and suppliers.
• Develop sourcing strategies and conduct supplier evaluations and technical bid analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing solutions with project requirements.
• Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and industry partners.
• Monitor market trends, conduct benchmarking, and attend industry exhibitions to identify new opportunities.
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
