Job summary

Edge Group is seeking an experienced professional to join EDGE Commercial's Bidding & Proposals team in the United Arab Emirates. The candidate will lead bid management and technical sourcing efforts, ensuring compliant and competitive sourcing solutions for strategic defence projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of experience, preferably in Aerospace & Defence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years of experience, preferably in Aerospace & Defence.
Strong understanding of bid management processes and technical sourcing.
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assess customer RFP technical requirements and identify suitable products and suppliers.
Develop sourcing strategies and conduct supplier evaluations and technical bid analysis.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing solutions with project requirements.
Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and industry partners.
Monitor market trends, conduct benchmarking, and attend industry exhibitions to identify new opportunities.
Ensure supplier compliance with quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
