Job summary

Parkin in Dubai seeks a procurement and governance professional to maintain awareness of strategy planning processes and KPI requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and Tender activities where required.

You will track and report on strategic and operational KPIs, manage supplier relationships to secure cost savings and compliant delivery, and support governance, audits, and periodic reporting. Change management and quality assurance awareness are also part of the role.

Job description

Strategic Planning:

• Maintain awareness on the strategy planning process.
• Maintain knowledge on new and existing KPI requirements as an individual employee.

Corporate Performance Management:

• Track and report the Section strategic as well as operations KPI’s and performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services, while actively seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
• Review and understand the Scope of Work (SoW) and technical requirements provided by stakeholders; engage with end users from a commercial perspective to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment, and recommend adjustments or elaborations where required for tendering purposes
• Conduct tender commercial evaluations, considering techno-commercial aspects and technical complexities.
• Direct the implementation of purchases through awarding purchase orders and establishing agreements.
• Facilitate post-tender clarifications with bidders, ensuring active participation and prompt response.
• Integrate sustainability in the procurement process, evaluating suppliers based on their environmental and ethical practices, and driving initiatives that promote responsible sourcing.
• Continually assess and evaluate supplier performance metrics, ensuring timely delivery, product/service quality, and responsiveness, while initiating corrective actions or transitioning to alternative suppliers when necessary.
• Regularly review and refine procurement processes, leveraging technology, feedback, and industry best practices to drive efficiencies, reduce lead times, and ensure a proactive approach to procurement challenges.
• Support in the implementation of quality assurance protocols, ensuring every procured item or service meets the organization’s standards while actively identifying and mitigating any potential supply chain or procurement-related risks.

Governance:

• Maintain awareness and adherence to the department/section’s policies and procedures.
• Participate in the periodic audit of the established policies and procedures.

Management Reporting:

• Support the development of periodic reports, as requested.
• Highlight any quality or non-compliance issues observed during the development of periodic reports.

Change Management:

Support the execution of change management activities in the department/section.
