Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance or economics.
• Experience in client coverage, relationship management or sales support within financial services.
• Understanding of asset servicing and institutional client environment; strong commercial acumen desired.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and perform well in a team-based coverage model.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to prepare professional client-facing materials.
• Commercial awareness with a drive to identify opportunities for client outcomes and growth.
• Familiarity with regulatory, compliance and reputational considerations in financial services.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills advantageous.

BNY is seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Client Coverage to join our Asset Servicing team in Dubai. In this role, the successful candidate will support the management and development of client relationships across assigned markets, helping to drive client satisfaction, retention, and business growth. The individual will work closely with senior coverage colleagues, product partners, and client service teams to deliver a high standard of relationship support and contribute to broader commercial objectives across the Asset Servicing business.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Support the management of existing client relationships across assigned segments and markets within the Asset Servicing business.
• Partner with senior client coverage professionals to execute relationship strategies designed to retain, grow, and deepen client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to broaden client engagement and support account growth through cross-sell and solution alignment.
• Build a strong understanding of client business models, strategic priorities, and servicing needs to help deliver relevant and timely support.
• Contribute to client meetings, presentations, and follow-up actions, helping ensure a consistent and coordinated client experience.
• Work collaboratively with product, account management, and client service teams to support the delivery of client coverage plans and business development initiatives.
• Monitor market developments, industry trends, and competitor activity relevant to the client base, and share insights with internal stakeholders.
• Help identify client needs, service gaps, or emerging opportunities and escalate these appropriately within the coverage team.
• Support the preparation of commercial materials, client updates, and internal reporting related to client activity and account development.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, pipeline activity, and account-related developments in line with internal requirements.
• Assist in coordinating responses to client issues, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation where needed to support client satisfaction.
• Support the team in managing compliance, regulatory, and reputational considerations connected to client relationships.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Relevant experience in client coverage, relationship management, sales support, business development, account management, or client servicing within the financial services industry.
• Understanding of Asset servicing and the institutional client environment, with interest in developing deeper commercial and market knowledge.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute positively to a team-based coverage model.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and professional client-facing and internal materials.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and support business growth.
• Good attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-up.
• Understanding of the regulatory, compliance, and reputational considerations relevant to client-related activity in financial services.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language capability would be an advantage.
• Appreciation of local market dynamics and cultural nuances across the Middle East.
