Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Dubai invites applications for a Corporate Coverage Analyst - Origination Enabler based in the MEA region. You will drive origination through deep financial analysis, credit profiling, and compelling client presentations as part of a cross-border coverage team.

You will build pitch books, translate complex data into clear slides, and support transactions, onboarding, and risk reviews with KYC/AML compliance in mind.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of corporate finance, balance sheet analysis and credit underwriting.
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with visual design sensibility.
• Fluent English with ability to collaborate across multi-jurisdictional teams.
• Familiar with AI tools and prompting; proactive in adoption.
• Arabic or French language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create marketing materials, pitch books, and decks to support origination and client advisory efforts across the DB product suite.
• Translate complex financial data into clear client presentations.
• Coordinate KYC onboarding and support due diligence for MEA clients.
• Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Managers, and CRM to prepare credit requests and reviews.

Your Role

Based in Dubai, the Corporate Coverage Analyst - Origination Enabler plays a vital role in supporting the Middle East & Africa (MEA) Corporate Coverage Team. In this position, you will act as a key driver of business origination by conducting deep financial analysis, preparing credit risk profiles, compiling competitor intelligence, and designing high-impact client presentations. Under the guidance of senior originators, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the origination lifecycle and our product suite, assisting in transaction execution and client relationship management across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Pitch Book & Presentation Mastery

• Content Creation: Produce "best-in-class" marketing materials, pitch books, and presentation decks to support origination and client advisory efforts across the DB product suite
• Synthesis of Complex Data: Translate complex product offerings, financial data, and competitive benchmarking into clear, visually engaging, and structured client presentations
• Senior Briefings: Create precise internal briefing memos and pipeline reports to prepare senior leadership for high-profile client meetings and regional reviews.

Credit Analysis & Financial Advisory

• Credit & Financial Assessment: Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessments, and capital structure evaluations of MEA corporate clients and prospects to identify transaction viability
• Credit Process Facilitation: Act as a critical liaison between product sales teams, relationship managers, and Credit Risk Management (CRM) officers to prepare and present robust credit requests and annual reviews
• Risk Mitigation: Analyze client portfolios, market trends, and risk profiles to assist senior bankers in structuring appropriate lending and capital solutions.

Client Onboarding, KYC, and AML Compliance

• KYC Ownership & Coordination: Facilitate the end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding and regular review processes for MEA corporate clients, acting as the primary escalation point within the Coverage team in case of queries from dedicated KYC/AML operations teams
• Due Diligence Collection: Assist where required the KYC Operations team in gathering, analysing, and verifying sensitive client due diligence (CDD) documentation and ownership structures in strict accordance with the bank’s internal AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies and local regulatory requirements
• Risk Identification and Policy Adherence: Proactively identify and escalate potential financial crime risks, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) involvements, or sanctions-related concerns to senior Coverage Bankers and AFC/Compliance officers. Ensure business origination and client maintenance activities comply with the bank’s global policies and regional requirements

Candidate Profile & Core Competencies

• Credit & Analytical Acumen: Strong understanding of corporate finance, balance sheet analysis, and credit underwriting principles. Ability to assess risk and structure logical credit narratives.
• Advanced Microsoft Office/Presentation Skills: Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. A strong visual design sensibility and the ability to articulate complex financial concepts through clear slides. Knowledge of AI tools (e.g. CoPilot) and prompting preferred.
• First-Class Communication: Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to collaborate across multi-jurisdictional teams and align diverse internal stakeholders. (Fluency in regional languages such as Arabic or French is a distinct advantage).
• Proactivity & Adaptability: A self-starter mindset with the drive to proactively maintain and expand knowledge of Deutsche Bank’s evolving product suite and MEA market developments.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
