Job summary

Abroad Work in Dubai, UAE seeks an experienced Sommelier to join our team. You will be the primary wine specialist, responsible for selecting, purchasing, receiving and serving all wine products, maintaining inventory, and ensuring proper storage per safety standards.

You will guide guests with detailed wine information, offer expert pairings, and develop relationships with suppliers while planning special wine tastings or dinners to showcase regional or varietal wines.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining restaurant or hotel.
• Advanced knowledge of classic and modern wines from around the world.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an outstanding wine list.
• Develop and execute wine-related events.
• Provide detailed wine information, tasting notes, pairings, and origin details to guests.
• Develop supplier relationships to stay informed about new products.
• Plan tastings or dinners showcasing regions or wine types.
